- An open mowed meadow just below the Main Lodge sets the stage for large outdoor gatherings. Complete with party lights, fire-pit, and basketball court.

Lavender Labyrinth
- An inherited labor of love that blooms through the summer months with culinary and aromatic lavender bushes. The labyrinth is perched on a southern hill slope and open for guests to explore.

The Pond
- Walking the road beyond the main parking area brings visitors up-canyon to a small pond surrounded by sedge, rush, alder and willow, providing a spot for quiet undertakings with the resident birds as well as an inspiring outdoor classroom.

Ropes Challenge Course
- The WSU Extension program maintains and operates a ropes course here on Tierra grounds with 13 low elements and 2 stand alone high elements. Groups should contact them directly for more information about program facilitation. Learn More.

Ridge Trails
- There are miles of ridgeline trails to explore with views into the Cascade mountains.

Organic Gardens
- Tierra Garden Organics supplies vegetables to our local community and partners closely with Tierra's TRAILS day program for a truly inclusive endeavor. The garden has produced over 100 varieties of vegetables and plenty of flowers for show.

The Barn
- Dating from the early 1900's, the Barn is the remaining homestead structure in Sunitsch Canyon and now hosts Mountain Sprouts Children's Community and the Tierra Pottery studio. The upstairs loft area still shows off the original structure.

Offices
- Set on the site of the original homestead house, the cedar kit home from the 60s holds administrative offices for operations and the retreat center.

Orchard & Fields
- Surrounding a small orchard of plums, pears, apricots and apples is over 20 acres of organic alfalfa that is cut and baled along with 20 acres of dryland wheat on the hillside.

Coyote House and Residences
- Established in 2004, Tierra Learning Center's mission is to provide homes and services for the developmental disability population in an inclusive setting. Coyote House is an adult family home for 6 adults. Additional single family homes surround and support.

Main Lodge
- The center piece of our Retreat Center facilities, Tierra's Main Lodge has a large deck and a front lawn bordered by vine-maple nooks. This venue has 6500 sq. ft. of interior space on 3 levels including game room, bunk rooms, commercial kitchen and table settings for 120.

Room Suites
- 5 separate buildings that provide twenty individual 2-room suites for Retreat Center guests. All offer unique and quiet views, small kitchenettes, individual bathrooms, propane stoves in the winter and air-conditioning in the summer.

Amphitheater
- Guests approach the amphitheater by a gentle path along the hillside. With bench seating for over 100, a small stage and beautiful filtered light, the amphitheater comes to life for wedding ceremonies and group gatherings.

Yurt
- Set on a platform, Tierra's 30' yurt brings light in from all sides, including the eye overhead. Wood floors, heat, a supply of yoga mats and meditation cushions, and an inviting and covered transition area emphasize the reflective and welcoming spirit of the place.

Barn Canyon Camping
- A separate group camping area, Barn Canyon offers cloudscape views, singing nighthawks as well as a heated bathhouse with toilets, sinks and warm showers. Picnic tables, potable water and a fire pit complete the basics for overnight experiences.

Tierra Forest Products
- Tierra Forestry manages 220 acres of FSC Certified forest land through commercial timber harvest and cost-share fuel reduction work. Faced with removing a large volume of woody biomass to promote forest health and fire resilience, Tierra Forest Products produces poles, cord wood and Chumstick Biochar from thinning operations.

Donkey Land
- Lupine and PigPen are Tierra's friendly miniature donkeys claimed to posses the affectionate nature of a Newfoundland, the resignation of a cow, the durability of a mule, the courage of a tiger, and the intellectual capability only slightly inferior to man's."

Solar
- A 6.5 kW grid-tied system produces 13,000 kWh annually about what an average US household uses.

Bridge Trail
- Additional trails are maintained throughout the property including a bridge trail that offers relatively flat and accessible woods walk.

The Hive
- Tierra's newest building features natural light and art studio supplies and is the home for programming and employment services for the development disability population. A small event space and kitchen host wider community events.
