TIERRA LEARNING CENTER is situated on 315 acres on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, about 5 miles from Leavenworth and 3 hours from Seattle. We are 45 minutes from the closest air service at Pangborn Memorial Airport, near Wenatchee, WA. Once a family farm, much of the site is surrounded by Wenatchee National Forest.

The Tierra land begins after crossing the railroad tracks as you enter Sunitsch Canyon. We think of the tracks as a threshold - once you are on Tierra land, you can leave the frenzy and distractions of the world behind.

We do not have television here. We do have peace and quiet. You may see or hear coyotes in the lower fields and occasionally we have visits from deer and black bears.There are hikes, from easy to more challenging, with great views from the ridge behind the
lodge & cabins.
